"I just wanted to let you know that last night at DJ's party I had friends that have autism and friends that don't and I am HAPPY to report that you really couldn't tell the difference! They really just all blended in together. We had Jacob, Emma, Logan and Hunter and DJ. There was a total of 16 kids. So THANK YOU! The social skills classes really do work. We are proof!" ~ Bernadette H.

We are really amazed at the emotional growth Evan has made from taking part in the Social Skills class. Evan is not very aware of other people's thoughts and feelings. He often had a difficult time with other kids because he would try to control every situation. We would constantly have to monitor him to make sure he was interacting appropriately and not trying to boss everyone around. Now, We are able to take him to play without him upsetting other kids and they are really enjoying playing together! He is much happier and making good friendships, we didn't expect this to happen so quickly. Now everyone is his FRIEND!! The other day we picked him up at school and all his classmates were running over to give him a hug! We were really stressing about sending him to school in the fall, now we are looking forward to it! ~ Angela and Casey A.
